Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and role (teacher or student). Teachers may also upload profile pictures and course cover images. Students accumulate vocabulary and exercise answers as they use the platform.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to operate the Senkyuu platform: authenticating you, storing your courses and progress, and letting teachers communicate with their students. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who can see your data

• Your teacher can see your name, email, vocabulary bank, and exercise answers for classrooms they manage.
• Students can see only their own data and the classroom content their teacher shares with them.
• We use Supabase (hosted on AWS) for database and authentication. Your data is stored in the EU region by default.

Data retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Account Settings → Delete account. This removes all your data from our database within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie set by Supabase Auth to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Children

Student accounts can be created by teachers for learners of any age. Teachers are responsible for obtaining appropriate parental consent for minors in their jurisdiction.
